New Delhi : After films like The Kashmir Files and The Bengal Files, another “Files” title is set to hit theatres — but this one is not backed by filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri. The trailer of the Marathi film The Maharashtra Files was unveiled on May 18, offering a glimpse into a politically charged drama centred on corruption, land acquisition and the abuse of power.
Directed by Sanjivkumar Rathod, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on May 29, 2026.
