Sachin Malik Gautam Buddh Nagar: Under the direction of Police Commissioner Gautam Buddh Nagar, Laxmi Singh, a women Empowerment rally was organized under Mission Shakti Campaign 6.0 with the objective of Enhancing Public awareness about the Safety, dignity, Self-reliance and rights of women and Girls. On this occasion, a foot march was taken out from Government Girls Inter College, Village Hoshiarpur, Sector-51, Noida. Through the rally, the Public was made aware of women and Child Safety and a message was conveyed about ensuring women Security and Providing them with equal opportunities and respect in Society.
The foot march was led by Suniti, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Women Safety). The Programme was conducted in coordination with Manisha Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Women Safety), the Inspector-In-Charge of Police Station Sector-49, Noida and the Station House Officer of the Women Police Station.
Approximately 500 Girl Students Participated Enthusiastically in the Programme. In addition, ASHA workers, Home Guards, ANM, teachers and sanitation workers actively contributed to the Initiative.
Representatives from various departments Shared important information regarding women Safety measures, the rights of women and Girls, health and hygiene, Safety awareness and welfare Schemes implemented by the Government, thereby Ensuring the successful and well-organized conduct of the Programme.
Mission Shakti teams from all Police Stations in the Noida Zone of Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate, along with the Swayam Siddha teams and Anti-Romeo teams, actively Participated in the Programme. During the foot march, women and Girls were Provided with important information concerning their Safety, rights and empowerment. The Public was also made aware of various Government welfare Schemes for women and Children, as well as helpline numbers related to women safety, so that women and Girls facing distress could seek timely assistance whenever Required.
Organized in view of the Sharadiya Navratri festival, the Primary objective of this Public awareness campaign was to Strengthen the sense of security among women and Girls, make them aware of their rights and Promote the values of women dignity, Safety and empowerment in society. On this occasion, members of the Public were encouraged to adopt a sensitive and respectful attitude towards women and Girls, immediately inform the concerned Police authorities in cases of harassment or misconduct and actively cooperate in ensuring women Safety.
Under Mission Shakti Campaign 6.0, Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate Police is organizing various Public awareness and community outreach Programmes in accordance with its action Plan, in coordination with different departments and the General Public. These initiatives aim to Provide a safe environment for women and Girls, enhance their Self-confidence and ensure Greater Public Participation in Promoting women Safety and Empowerment.
