Ajit Singh Delhi: A Road Safety Awareness Programme was conducted today at Nand Nagri DTC Depot under the Jurisdiction of Nand Nagri Traffic Circle, with the objective of Promoting Safe and Responsible road-user Behaviour.
The Programme was organised with the support of the Road Safety Cell and Nand Nagri Traffic Police Staff, Who Participated along with the ME Van. Through audio-visual Presentations and Awareness films displayed in the ME Van, Participants were Sensitised about various aspects of road Safety.
Key Issues Highlighted During the Programme Included:
– Prevention of road accidents and Safe Road-user Behaviour.
– Importance of following traffic Rules and Maintaining Road Discipline.
– Dangers and legal Risks associated with Allowing minors to drive Vehicles.
– Safe driving Practices and responsible behaviour on Roads.
A large number of DTC drivers, Conductors and other DTC Staff, along with members of the General Public, Participated in the awareness Programme.
The initiative aimed to Strengthen awareness about road Safety among DTC Staff and the General Public and encourage responsible behaviour to help Prevent road accidents and Promote Safer Roads in Delhi.
