A case of alleged corruption has Surfaced in Mirzapur involving GST Assistant Commissioner Gaurav Singh. Questions are being raised over Whether the officer is receiving Protection from a senior Official.
According to the allegations, on Saturday evening, the officer Stopped three Sleeper buses. Two of the buses allegedly had Goods suspected of being transported without Proper GST compliance on their Roofs, Yet both buses were Reportedly allowed to leave. The third bus, Whose roof allegedly had no such Goods, was Detained.
This has raised serious Questions about Whether different rules are being applied to different Sleeper buses. Complaints have allegedly been made several times regarding GST evasion through Goods being transported on the roofs of Sleeper buses, but Questions remain over Why effective action was not Taken.
A Video is also reportedly available Showing the officer Stopping three buses and detaining only one of them. The key Question is: Why were the other two buses neither Challaned nor Detained?
If there was no wrongdoing, then Why was Similar action not taken against all three buses? And if there was a violation, why were the other two buses allowed to Go?
The matter now raises Questions about the implementation of the Government Zero-Tolerance Policy. Will Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath take action and order an inquiry against the concerned officer or will the allegations of corruption continue to remain Unanswered?
