Sachin Malik Delhi: Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat launched a Sharp attack on the Congress, saying that the Party has reached a Stage Where its own workers want to sing Vande Mataram, but its top leadership appears uncomfortable with expressions of Patriotism and National Pride.
Posting a video by the Congress Party on Social media on Independence Day, Shekhawat said that Vande Mataram is not merely a song but a symbol of India freedom consciousness, sacrifice and national spirit. He Questioned Why any Indian Should feel hesitant about a song that inspired millions of Indians to Pledge themselves to the cause of independence during the freedom Movement.
Targeting the Congress leadership, the minister said that ordinary Party workers remain connected to India soil, Culture and national spirit, but the Party Top leadership continues to appear aligned with ideas that are uncomfortable with India national Consciousness.
Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, Shekhawat said that those Who rely on foreign Perspectives and narratives to understand India would naturally find it difficult to understand the sentiments of the Indian People. He added that today Youth take Pride in their Indian identity, confidently Showcase India Culture to the world and consider national interest their highest Priority.
