Sachin Malik: Uttar Pradesh Urban Development and Energy Minister and District In-Charge Minister A.K. Sharma on Monday Chaired a review meeting of the Administrative Coordination Committee at the Collectorate auditorium with Public representatives and district officials. The meeting focused on monsoon Preparedness, arrangements for the upcoming Shravan month Kanwar Yatra and the Progress of various development and infrastructure Projects.
During the meeting, Minister Sharma directed officials to ensure that all Public welfare works are completed within the Stipulated timeframe, with high Quality Standards and on Priority.
Reviewing road conditions, he instructed the Public Works Department (PWD) to immediately repair roads damaged due to heavy rainfall. He also directed the Jal Nigam to ensure Prompt restoration and reconstruction of roads affected by Pipeline installation Works.
The Minister instructed urban local bodies to Prevent waterlogging by regularly Cleaning drains and sewer lines. He also emphasized conducting intensive sanitation drives, fogging operations and anti-larval spraying to effectively control the spread of seasonal and vector-borne Diseases.
Reviewing Preparations for the Kanwar Yatra, Sharma directed officials to ensure Proper arrangements for Cleanliness, drinking water, Street lighting and other essential amenities along the Pilgrimage routes. He instructed the Energy Department to inspect all Electricity lines and Poles on Kanwar routes and complete necessary Safety measures immediately to Prevent any untoward Incidents. He further directed officials to ensure uninterrupted Power Supply to farmers as Per the Prescribed Roster.
The Minister also instructed all implementing agencies to accelerate ongoing development and construction works while Strictly adhering to Quality Standards. He made it Clear that no negligence or compromise in the Quality of development works would be Tolerated.
During the meeting, Public representatives raised several issues related to Public Grievances and development Projects. Minister Sharma directed the concerned officials to address these matters Promptly and effectively on Priority.
He further Stressed that, in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Government welfare Schemes Should be widely Publicized so that every eligible beneficiary receives their intended Benefits.
The meeting was attended by Zila Panchayat Chairperson Aniruddh Tripathi, MLA Deenanath Bhaskar, MLA Vipul Dubey, BJP District President Deepak Mishra, District Magistrate Shailesh Kumar, the Superintendent of Police, along with other Public representatives and Senior district Officials.
