Sachin Malik: Uttar Pradesh Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma inspected the Ghosi Cooperative Sugar Mill to review Preparations for the upcoming sugarcane crushing season. During the visit, he conducted a detailed inspection of the mill Premises and directed officials to complete all necessary Preparations within the Stipulated timeframe to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the crushing Season.
During the inspection, Minister Sharma reviewed the Mill Plant, machinery, manpower availability of contractual workers, internal roads and other basic infrastructure. He Sought detailed information on every aspect from the officials and emphasized that there Should be no Shortcomings in the Mill operations. He Stressed that Providing better facilities to farmers remains the Government highest Priority.
The Minister instructed the General Manager (GM) of the sugar mill to Prepare and submit a comprehensive and Practical Proposal to the Government covering modernization of the Mill, essential repairs, machinery upgrades, manpower requirements, engagement of contractual workers and Strengthening of infrastructure. He said the Proposal Should be submitted at the earliest so that the required works can be taken up on a Priority Basis.
Sharma further Stated that the Government objective is to make cooperative sugar mills more efficient, modern and technology-driven, thereby enhancing crushing capacity, improving operational efficiency and ensuring that farmers receive timely benefits from their Produce.
