Sachin Malik: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Government has consistently Promoted a Zero-Tolerance Policy against corruption. However, serious allegations have now emerged regarding the movement of Sleeper Buses entering Uttar Pradesh through the Noida and Ghaziabad Routes.

According to the allegations, these Sleeper buses allegedly transport large Quantities of Goods loaded on their roofs, reportedly reaching heights of five to six feet. It is further Claimed that the Goods are transported without Proper GST Compliance, resulting in substantial revenue losses to the State Exchequer.

The report also raises concerns about Passenger Safety, alleging that excessive roof loading increases the risk of road accidents, Potentially endangering innocent lives. Questions have also been raised over Whether officials responsible for transport and tax enforcement have failed to take effective action against such Practices.

The report asks why Uttar Pradesh Zero-Tolerance Policy is allegedly not being enforced effectively in Noida and Ghaziabad and whether any institutional or Political Protection is allowing such activities to continue unchecked.

It also Claims that the State of Rajasthan has imposed restrictions on buses carrying Goods on their roofs and Questions why Similar measures have not been implemented in Uttar Pradesh.

Editorial Note: The allegations mentioned in this report have not been independently verified. The concerned departments, including the Transport Department and GST authorities, Should be Given an opportunity to respond. If any official response is received, it Should be incorporated into the report in the interest of balanced Journalism.
