Sachin Malik: To Ensure the availability of Safe and Pure food and beverages for the Residents of the district, the Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA), under the directions of the Commissioner, Food Safety and Drug Administration, Uttar Pradesh Lucknow and the District Magistrate, has intensified its inspection drive. As Part of the campaign, officials are Collecting Samples of Milk and Milk Products for laboratory testing to ensure their Quality and Safety.
Assistant Commissioner (Food)-II Sarvesh Mishra, informed that the department is conducting regular inspections to ensure the supply of Quality Milk and dairy Products to the Public.
During the latest inspection, a team comprising Food Safety Officers Mukesh Kumar, Vijay Bahadur Patel and Ravindra Nath Verma Collected one sample of Paneer from Chaudhary Dairy in Haldoni, Greater Noida. The remaining Stock of approximately 100 kg of Paneer was found Prima facie to be adulterated and unfit for human consumption and was consequently Destroyed. The same team also collected one Milk Sample from Pramod Dairy in Jahangirpur Village under Jewar Tehsil.
Another team, consisting of Food Safety Officers Syed Ibadullah and Vishal Gupta, Collected one sample of Paneer from Chauhan Dairy in Sector-15 Noida. Approximately 200 kg of Paneer, found Prima facie unfit for human Consumption, was also Destroyed.
Food Safety Officer Amar Bahadur Saroj collected one sample each of milk and Paneer from Haldiram Snacks Pvt. Ltd. located in Sector-65 Noida.
In total, five samples were collected from Wholesale dairy establishments and have been sent to the laboratory for Analysis.
The Assistant Commissioner further Stated that Similar inspection drives and Sample collection campaigns will continue in the future to ensure that residents of the district receive food and beverages that meet the Prescribed Quality and Safety Standards.
