Sachin Malik: Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary S.P. Goyal conducted a weekly review meeting through video conferencing with all Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates of the State and issued necessary Instructions.
During the review of the Stamp and Registration Department, the Chief Secretary directed that districts where entries related to Plot-Wise valuation of land Parcels located near roads and Populated areas are Still Pending on the Prerna Portal Should ensure their Prompt upload. He also instructed that the valuation lists in districts including Varanasi, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Gorakhpur, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Pratapgarh, Fatehpur, Rampur, Mau and Pilibhit be revised at the earliest, as they had not been updated for a long time. He further directed District Magistrates, Additional District Magistrates (Finance/Revenue) and AIG officials to ensure speedy disposal of Pending Stamp cases in Courts.
The Chief Secretary also instructed the concerned District Magistrates to identify and allocate suitable land at the earliest for Pending Sub-Registrar office sites in districts such as Agra, Firozabad, Rampur, Kanpur Nagar, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Unnao, Basti, Banda, Bijnor, Maharajganj, Moradabad, Meerut, Mainpuri, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gautam Buddh Nagar and Mathura.
He Stated that under the Government of India “Gyan Bharat Mission,” work is being carried out for the Preservation of rare manuscripts. Accelerating this campaign, he directed that manuscripts available with government and non-government institutions, monasteries, temples, educational institutions, Private and Public libraries, as well as individuals, Should be Scanned and uploaded to the Portal to ensure Preservation of the country cultural and intellectual Heritage.
He also instructed District Magistrates to regularly review the Farmer Registry and ensure 100 Percent registration of farmers in their respective districts within the Stipulated time Frame.
Additional Chief Secretary (Culture) Amrit Abhijat, Principal Secretary (Agriculture) Ravindra, Principal Secretary (Stamp and Registration) Amit Gupta, along with other Senior officials, were Present in the Meeting.
