Sachin Malik: The Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated the new building of Adarsh Secondary School at Jan Bhavan, Lucknow. They also released a book titled “Hamara Jan Bhavan”, comprising over 150 Pages. The book Presents a detailed account of the development and transformation that has taken Place in the Jan Bhavan Premises over the Past seven Years.
On this occasion, a New School bus was also handed over to the Principal and driver to ensure better transportation facilities for Students.
Addressing the program, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Basic Education, Sandeep Singh, stated that under the vision of the Governor and the guidance of the Chief Minister, significant transformation is being witnessed in the field of education. He noted that the council school, established in 1961, has now been transformed into a modern institution and upgraded up to Class 10, serving as an important example of educational expansion in the State.
Minister Singh emphasized that a School is not just a building but a center for Shaping the bright future of Children. The newly constructed School includes 14 Classrooms, along with modern facilities such as a computer lab, AI lab and other co-curricular resources, ensuring Quality and Practical education for Students.
He further Stated that over the Past nine Years, the Yogi government has significantly improved basic infrastructure in council Schools through the “Operation Kayakalp” initiative. Schools have been Strengthened based on 19 Standards, leading to improvements in the education system. Additionally, the “School Chalo Abhiyan” has successfully increased enrollment and reduced dropout Rates.
Highlighting the expansion of Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ Schools, he said that 746 Schools in the State are being upgraded up to Class 12. The government has also decided to establish girls’ Schools in every block to ensure that no girl is deprived of Education.
The Program was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Secondary Education Gulab Devi, along with other senior officials and distinguished Guests
