Chief Minister Directs for Special Camps at Gram Panchayat level for Farmer Registry

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that the Farmer Registry be implemented across the State on a large Scale, ensuring that all farmers are registered on Priority. He instructed that special camps be organized at every Gram Panchayat at the earliest to connect farmers with the Farmer Registry so that no eligible farmer is left out of this System.

Chief Minister Stated, “the State government is developing the Farmer Registry as an integrated benefit delivery System in the agriculture sector. Under this system, all beneficiary-oriented Schemes of the agriculture department and other related departments are linked with the Farmer Registry, enabling farmers to access benefits of multiple Schemes in a Simple and Streamlined manner through a single Identity”.

 

He directed Schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi and crop insurance Schemes, any errors or discrepancies in beneficiaries’ names or records Should be corrected on Priority by linking them with Aadhaar.

He also emphasized ensuring that every eligible farmer is issued a farmer identity card so that there are no obstacles in the distribution of benefits and verification of eligibility becomes Easier.

Chief Minister instructed the agriculture department to establish the necessary technical infrastructure to link all its schemes with the Farmer Registry within a fixed timeline and ensure that the departmental Portal becomes fully functional by May 01, 2026. This will enable the Process of beneficiary Selection and benefit distribution to be carried out in a digital and integrated Manner.

He further directed allied departments such as horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, cooperatives and minor irrigation to coordinate with the agriculture department for the use of the farmer identity card in their respective Schemes and complete the necessary preparations by May 31, 2026, so that a uniform system can be implemented across all Departments.

The Chief Minister also added, “The Farmer Registry will make the Process of linking farmers to Schemes more effective and eliminate unnecessary complexities in accessing benefits. It will enable targeted utilization of resources and ensure better distribution of essential agricultural inputs in special Circumstances”.

He added, with the implementation of this System, benefits of schemes will reach farmers in a transparent manner and it will also become easier to review cases where a single beneficiary receives repeated benefits.

Chief Minister directed all concerned departments to treat this task with Seriousness, Complete it within the Stipulated timeline and ensure regular Monitoring.
