Sachin Malik: The central and state governments are continuously taking new steps to modernize the country education system and make it more employment-oriented. The main objective of these changes in the education sector is to empower students not only with traditional academic knowledge but also with Practical Skills, so they can be better prepared for future challenges. Experts believe that if these reforms are implemented effectively, India’s education system could witness significant positive transformation in the coming years.

Under the new framework, students are now being introduced to various Skill-based subjects from the school level itself. Starting from Class 6, students are being exposed to subjects such as computer programming, artificial intelligence, Robotics, Electronics, agricultural technology, design and entrepreneurship. The aim is to give students an opportunity to identify their interests and abilities at an early stage. This approach is expected to enhance creativity among students and better prepare them for employment opportunities in the future.

Along with this, Project-based learning and internships are also being encouraged. Many schools and educational institutions have started initiatives in collaboration with local industries, startups and technical organizations to Provide students with Practical experience. Education experts say that such initiatives will ensure that students are not limited to textbook knowledge but also develop the ability to understand real-life Problems and find effective solutions.

Digital education is also expanding rapidly across the country. Several states have introduced smart classrooms, online learning Platforms and digital libraries. Through these initiatives, students can access quality education even from their homes. Special schemes are also being implemented to strengthen internet-based educational facilities in rural and remote areas, ensuring that education reaches every section of Society.

Educationists believe that in the changing global scenario, it is no longer sufficient to limit education to theoretical knowledge alone. It is equally important to equip students with technical expertise, innovation skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. In this context, the growing focus on Skill-based and digital education can play a crucial role in preparing India youth to compete at the Global level.

According to experts, if the government, educational institutions, and the industrial sector work together with proper coordination, India could emerge as one of the leading nations in knowledge and innovation in the coming years. The new education framework is expected not only to support the holistic development of students but also to accelerate the country economic and social Progress.
