Bahraich: The birth anniversaries of Bharat Ratna Pt. Mahamana Madan Mohan Malaviya and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee were celebrated with great devotion, faith, and enthusiasm at the ancient Paramhans Baba Kuti premises (Birpur). A large number of Sanatan followers participated in the program.
The speakers described Mahamana Malaviya and Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Ajatshatru (one without enemies) and architects of modern India. They termed both leaders as great human beings (Mahamānava) and collectively took a pledge to follow their ideals to build a strong and united India.
Addressing Gayatri Parivar members, Jai Gurudev followers, Sanatan devotees, farmers, environmentalists, teachers, advocates, and social workers, Block Pramukh Nawabganj Jai Prakash Singh said that Malaviya and Atal were not ordinary humans but great visionaries whose thoughts and deeds united Sanatan society and strengthened the nation. Their ideals, he said, remain guiding principles for society.
Sanjeev Srivastava, Advocate, President of Mahamana Malaviya Mission, Awadh Region, called both leaders the builders of modern India and urged people to walk on their path to ensure national unity and strength. He also appealed for active participation in social awareness campaigns to maintain unity, integrity, and social harmony.
Educationist Pandit Maniram Sharma highlighted the role of Paramhans Baba as a pioneer in the border region and appealed for maintaining unity and social harmony in Sanatan society.
Shiv Pujan Singh, Convener of Kisan Parishad, emphasized the need for collective efforts to strengthen social harmony and unity in the border areas and encouraged participation in the organization social awareness initiatives.
Social worker Er. R.K Singh appealed to society to abandon hatred, animosity and internal discord and work collectively to strengthen Sanatan society.
The program was conducted by Durgesh Verma, Block President of Kisan Parishad, while the vote of thanks was presented by Pandit Vijay Sharma, a Sanatan society leader.
Presiding over the event, Suresh Chandra Gupta, Advocate, In-charge of the Mela Committee, stated that Paramhans Baba Kuti continuously inspires unity and strength in Sanatan society. He noted that the Sita-Ram Vivah Fair organized here attracts devotees not only from the region but also from neighboring Nepal, spreading the message of social and religious harmony.
Mahant Ramdas blessed the gathering and urged everyone to work towards maintaining unity and integrity of Sanatan society.
On the concluding occasion, under the joint aegis of Mahamana Malaviya Mission Awadh, Kisan Parishad and Paramhans Baba Mela Committee, a collective recitation and worship of Tulsi Chalisa was performed at the Tulsi Chauraha in the temple premises on the occasion of Tulsi Jayanti. Participants also took a pledge for environmental and water conservation.
Prominent attendees included Temple Committee President Baba Deen Verma, farmer leader Badri Singh, educationist Ravindra Sharma, Rudra Pratap Mishra, Rahul Upadhyay, Ramji Soni, Advocate Ram Sagar Verma, Prem Narayan Verma, Vijay Singh, Jai Gurudev followers, Raj Kumari, Vijay Kumari, social worker Chheda Khan, Sushil Singh, Gayatri Parivar regional coordinator, Rajesh Singh, A.K. Barnwal, spokesperson Dr. Pankaj Srivastava and hundreds of other devotees.
