After Lord Ram and Lord Krishna, the Grand Alliance is now opposing Chhath Maiya: CM Yogi

Bihar: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath continued his aggressive campaign for the Bihar Assembly elections with back-to-back rallies. Addressing a gathering in Pipra to seek votes for BJP candidate Shyambabu Prasad Yadav, the Chief Minister urged people to ensure a decisive victory for the NDA. During the rally, CM Yogi spotted a young girl holding his photograph, invited her onto the stage and encouraged her, drawing applause from the crowd.

Launching a sharp attack on the Grand Alliance, CM Yogi accused the RJD, Congress and Left parties of insulting faith and opposing cultural heritage. “After Lord Ram and Lord Krishna, these people are now opposing Chhath Maiya. Those who oppose Ram and insult faith do not deserve a single vote,” he said.

CM Yogi said the Congress always rejected Lord Ram, the RJD stopped the Ram Mandir Rath Yatra and the Samajwadi Party fired bullets on Ram devotees.

“When devotees said ‘Ram Lalla Hum Aayenge, Mandir Wahin Banayenge’, these parties rained bullets and lathis. But devotees stood firm and said ‘Lathi-Goli Khayenge, Mandir Wahin Banayenge’. Today, under the NDA government, Ayodhya has a grand Ram Temple,” he added.

CM Yogi reminded the crowd that Ayodhya international airport has been named after Maharishi Valmiki, while facilities like rain shelters and kitchens have been named after Nishadraj and Maa Shabari. “A magnificent temple of Maa Janki is also being built in Sitamarhi. After opposing Ram and Krishna, the Congress and Grand Alliance are now opposing Chhath Maiya. Do not waste your vote on those who hurt your faith.”

Yogi said that after the first phase of polling, the desperation of the opposition has become visible. “This is a clear sign that on November 14, Bihar will say ‘Phir ek baar NDA sarkar.’ Bihar needs the NDA,” he said.

Calling the Congress, RJD, CPI-ML and their allies “infamous gang leaders of their own territories,” Yogi alleged these parties nurtured crime, corruption, and jungle raj.

“To free Bihar from jungle raj, youth trusted the NDA in 2005, and Nitish formed the government,” he said.

He said, “Previous governments of forcing migration and humiliating Bihar talented youth.

“The land that once gave knowledge to the world was pushed into backwardness by RJD and Naxal-Maoist supporters. For 20 years, under Nitish Bihar has changed. Work that should have been done 30–50 years ago has finally begun,” Yogi said.

He listed the development achieved under NDA rule like roads, electricity, airports, IIT, IIM, AIIMS, NIT, engineering, medical colleges, employment, security and dignity.

Under PM Modi leadership, he said, India has transformed. “Modi is giving free ration to 80 crore people, while RJD people even ate the fodder meant for animals. NDA is giving employment and Panch Guarantee, housing, electricity, ration, healthcare and water.”

CM Yogi said the NDA stands for development and protection of heritage.

“On the other side is crime, criminals, Naxalism and Maoism. Modi has said that by March 2026, Naxal and Maoist threat will be eliminated forever from India.”

He urged the people of Pipra not to support any candidate linked to Naxalism.

“Ayodhya–Sitamarhi Ram-Janaki corridor is being built. The Gorakhpur–Siliguri Greenfield Expressway, passing through Motihari, is rapidly progressing. With development will come jobs right at your doorstep.”

Senior leaders including former Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Baburam Nishad and Uttar Pradesh Minister Narendra Kashyap were present at the rally.

CM Yogi calls a little girl on stage, boosts her confidence

During the event, CM Yogi noticed a young girl waving his picture enthusiastically from the crowd. He invited her on stage, posed for a photo and encouraged her. The gesture left the child delighted and impressed the entire gathering, showcasing CM Yogi simplicity and warmth.
