New Delhi : Aishwarya Rai attended the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba on Wednesday in Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh) when she delivered a strong speech on caste and religion. In a video that surfaced on social media, the Bollywood diva expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attending the event. She paid homage to Sri Sathya Sai Baba and talking about his teachings.
Aishwarya also recalled the “five D’s” — Discipline, Dedication, Devotion, Determination and Discrimination and urged everyone to spread love. “There is only one caste, the caste of humanity. There is only one religion, the religion of love. There is only one language, the language of the heart, and there is only one God, and he is omnipresent,” she said. Watch it here:
It is Aaradhya Bachchan’s 14th birthday.
Aishwarya Rai got married to actor Abhishek Bachchan in April 2007. The couple are proud parents to a girl, Aaradhya Bachchan, who was born on November 16, 2011. However, rumours of trouble in their marriage shocked everyone last year. It all started after the couple appeared separately for the media at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. Later, Aishwarya also shared photos from daughter Aaradhya’s birthday bash, which did not feature any of the Bachchan family members, including Abhishek. Abhishek was also not seen cheering for Aishwarya during her Cannes appearance this year.
Previously, Amitabh Bachchan had shared a post seemingly addressing speculations surrounding their family’s personal affairs. “I rarely say much about family, because that is my domain and its privacy is maintained by me ..
