Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Minister for Urban Development and Energy, A.K. Sharma will participate in the National Urban Conclave being organized in New Delhi on November 8 and 9. The Conclave is being hosted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India and will bring together Ministers and senior officials from urban development departments of various states, representatives of urban local bodies and subject experts from across the country.
The event will feature extensive discussions on key themes such as urban development, sanitation, Smart Cities Mission, housing, drainage systems, urban planning, green urbanization and sustainable urban growth.
Sharma will arrive at the Yashobhoomi India International Convention Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi on November 8, where he will participate in various sessions and share the achievements of Uttar Pradesh as well as the innovative initiatives undertaken by the state government in the field of urban development.
He stated that this Conclave provides an important platform for inter-state exchange of experiences and for strengthening policy formulation processes in urban development. He further mentioned that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi cities across India are witnessing unprecedented transformation and Uttar Pradesh is playing a leading role in this endeavor.
