Sachin Malik Lucknow: On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, Government Girls Inter College, Chhoti Jubilee, Lucknow, organised various Programmes related to Hindi Diwas and Hindi Fortnight from September 14 to September 30. Through these activities, Students are being made aware of the importance of the Hindi language, respect for the mother tongue and the role of language in Nation-Building.
The Hindi Diwas Programme was Presided over by Ruby Pandey. Addressing the Students, She said that Children Should be Given freedom and encouragement to learn, understand and Progress in their mother tongue. The mother tongue Plays an important role in Shaping a Person thoughts, Values, expression and Personality. When Students are able to express themselves Comfortably in their own language, it helps build their Confidence.
She said that many countries around the world are Progressing by Giving Priority to their mother tongues in education, research, administration and Professional fields. In India too, the use and respect of Hindi as well as all Indian languages Should be encouraged. Hindi has been accorded the Status of the Official Language of the Union under the Constitution and Hindi and other Indian languages have an important role in nation-building. She emphasised that Students Should be Provided adequate opportunities to work in their mother tongue and express their talents, so that language becomes an empowering medium for their development rather than a Barrier.
School Principal Ankita Singh, While extending Hindi Diwas Greetings, said that Hindi is an important medium of daily life and social communication. Students Should have a Good knowledge of the Hindi language. Through Hindi, Girl Students can express their thoughts more effectively and move forward with confidence in their careers as well as in Education.
As Part of the Hindi Diwas celebrations, Students enthusiastically Participated in Painting, Poster-Making and speech competitions. They Showcased their creative talents on themes such as the Hindi language, mother tongue, Indian culture and nation-building. In the speech competition, Students Presented impressive views on the importance of Hindi. The teachers appreciated the Students for their outstanding Performances.
During the Programme, teachers including Meera Singh, Ruchita Singh and Tanu, along with other teaching Staff, were Present. The teachers Guided the Students and encouraged them to develop an interest in the Hindi language and improve their communication and expression Skills.
