Speaking to the media at the airport on Sunday, Shekhawat said that India being Given the BRICS Presidency after the G20 is Significant in itself. He described the unity demonstrated by all BRICS countries on the issue of terrorism, Setting aside their differences and the adoption of resolutions Condemning terrorism as a major Achievement.
On the issue of tariffs, Shekhawat said that tariffs are an economic matter for each country, but their weaponisation Should be avoided. He said India is moving forward in this direction through dialogue and agreements. India has entered into Free Trade Agreements (FTA) with several countries and is also engaged in FTA negotiations with the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Shekhawat said India endeavour is to establish a System in which, through dialogue, the interests of Indian Producers, the manufacturing sector and farmers remain Protected, While ensuring that the country benefits from such arrangements. He said that India Performance amid the Prevailing Global economic conditions is also reflected in the first-Quarter Figures.
Shekhawat said the world is currently facing economic Challenges and conditions resembling a Slowdown. Its impact will also be felt in India, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development and Growth have been witnessed across every sector of the country. He said that despite Challenging Global Conditions, India Economy is moving forward with Strength.
Calling Training Camp ‘Horse-Trading’ Would Be an Insult to Public Representatives
Responding to a Question about the training camp, Shekhawat said calling it “horse-trading” would amount to insulting elected representatives. He said it has been a tradition of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to Provide training to its workers from time to time so that they can Perform their responsibilities more effectively while adapting to new roles and Responsibilities.

On Congress Allegations, Shekhawat Says More Issues Will Emerge in the Coming Days
On the Congress Party allegations regarding the municipal elections, Shekhawat said raising such issues appears to be the Congress main focus. He said that in the coming days, the Congress may also raise allegations concerning elections through Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) and the absence of separate arrangements for senior Citizens.
He said such allegations are likely to continue until the election results are announced. Shekhawat expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party would receive widespread Public support in the municipal elections across the State. He said the BJP would emerge victorious in all municipal bodies and that BJP boards would be formed with clear majorities and by Substantial Margins.
