NEW DELHI: Coal India Limited (CIL) has posted the provisional answer key for the Management Trainee (MT) recruitment exam 2026 allowing candidates to see their answers and raise any objections. The objection facility will stand open until September 3, 2026 at 11:55 pm.
Response sheets and provisional Answer key are made available on individual candidate log in portal for candidates who appeared in Computer Based Test (CBT). They have the option to mark their answers then compare it to the answers to see if they have an objection to turn in or not.

Interested candidates are required to follow the given steps to visit the official Coal India website and then the recruitment page for Management Trainees. They can then log in using their registered credentials to view the response sheet and provisional answer key.
Candidates who point out the wrong answer can take advantage of the objection feature present on the portal before the given time limit.
When was the Coal India MT Exam held?
The Management Trainee recruitment CBT was conducted on August 24, 2026. The recruitment process is ongoing for 660 Management Trainee posts in various disciplines under Advertisement No. 03/2026.
Candidates can use the provisional key to get an estimate of their performance. The provisional answer key is not a final result, however, and other valid challenges may result in a change to the final answer key.
