NEW DELHI : The Union Public Service Commission has released the Civil Services Main Examination 2026 admit card for candidates who qualified in the preliminary examination.
The hall ticket is available online and candidates can download it using their registered login details. The Mains examination will begin on August 21, 2026, and candidates should download and print their admit card well before the examination.
The admit card is a mandatory document for entry to the examination centre.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE UPSC MAIN EXAMINATION HALL TICKET
Candidates can follow these steps to access their UPSC Mains admit card:
- Visit the official UPSC website.
- Open the link titled ‘e-Admit Card: Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2026’.
- Click on the ‘Click Here’ option.
- Select the login option.
- Enter the required login details.
- Click Submit.
- The UPSC Mains admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download the hall ticket.
- Take a printout and keep it safely for the examination.
Candidates should check the details on the admit card immediately after downloading it.

UPSC MAINS EXAM FROM AUGUST 21
According to the official schedule, the Civil Services Main Examination will be held from August 21 to August 30, 2026.
The examination will be conducted in two sessions: 9 am to 12 noon and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
The Essay paper will be held on August 21, followed by General Studies papers on August 22 and 23. The Indian Language, English and Optional Subject papers are scheduled for August 29 and 30.
Candidates should carry the required documents and reach their examination centres well before the reporting time.
