New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut has addressed Hrithik Roshan directly after the actor’s recent remarks on the viral “We Need to Apologise to Hrithik” trend. In a strongly worded Instagram Stories post, the actress urged him to speak against those allegedly trolling her instead of making comments that, according to her, keep their long-running controversy alive.
Referring to Hrithik’s relationship with Saba Azad, Kangana said she was happy that he had found his life partner and wished the couple well. She, however, appealed to the actor not to make remarks that she believes encourage fresh online attacks against her.
“Dear Hrithik, I am happy that you have found your perfect match, Saba Azad… you both look great together,” Kangana wrote.
She further asked him to “condemn all those who are harassing and bullying me using your name” instead of, as she put it, “adding fuel to the fire and embarrassing your partner”. She ended the note by expressing hope that “better sense prevails” and that he would refrain from making what she called “unreasonable comments”.

Kangana’s statement came after Hrithik responded to the viral “We Need to Apologise to Hrithik” trend on Instagram. Reacting to a post shared by Freddy Birdy, the actor said changing public opinion should not decide who deserves support.
“Siding with ‘A’ just because you don’t like ‘B’ anymore…” is part of a larger problem, Hrithik wrote, adding that he would rather wait until opinions were driven by “facts” and “truth” because that would be “fair”.
Kangana Ranaut’s remarks on student protests unexpectedly brought her past dispute with Hrithik Roshan back into the spotlight. During an online exchange, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das joked that his friends believed the actress was targeting him because he resembled a younger Hrithik Roshan. The remark soon reignited social media discussions around the actors’ long-running feud.
The actors have been at the centre of one of Bollywood’s longest-running public disputes since 2016. The controversy erupted after Kangana referred to Hrithik as her “silly ex” during an interview. Hrithik denied they had ever been in a relationship, leading to a prolonged legal battle, exchanged notices and conflicting claims that remained in the public spotlight for months.
