Sachin Malik Sitapur: Uttar Pradesh Water Resources Minister Swatantra Dev Singh on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed office building of the Irrigation Division in Sitapur by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister of State for Urban Development Rakesh Rathore Guru, Sevata MLA Gyan Tiwari, Mishrikh MLA Ram Krishna Bhargava, BJP District President Rajesh Shukla, along with Several Public representatives. The department aims to further accelerate the timely completion of irrigation Projects across the State so that their benefits reach farmers without Delay.

On the occasion, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh also Planted a sapling in the office Premises under the Global “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, Promoting environmental conservation. He appealed to Citizens to actively Participate in making the environment Greener and Healthier.
Inspection of Flood Protection Projects
Later, the Water Resources Minister visited Rampur Mathura to inspect the Sukul Purwa flood Protection Projects. He reviewed the ongoing works and also inspected the construction of three flood Protection spurs (thokars) on the Ghaghara River near Sukul Purwa Village.
Addressing the officials during the inspection, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh said that the Uttar Pradesh Government is continuously working to Provide better irrigation facilities to farmers. He Stated that the timely completion of irrigation Projects would directly benefit the farming community, enhance agricultural Productivity, and contribute Significantly to the State Economic Growth.
The Minister also issued Strict instructions to officials and engineers to ensure that all construction works are completed with the highest Standards of Quality. He directed that every Project must be finished within the Stipulated timeline, Particularly before the upcoming flood season, so that local residents remain Protected from flood-Related Disasters.
