New Delhi: After months of speculation, Jr NTR is officially reuniting with filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas for an ambitious mythological drama based on Lord Muruga. The announcement has finally put an end to rumours surrounding the project, with the makers promising a film mounted on a massive scale.
Producer Naga Vamsi described the venture as one that has ‘no boundaries or limitations’, hinting at the film’s grand vision. The project marks Jr NTR and Trivikram’s second collaboration after the success of Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava in 2018. Music for the upcoming film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Jr NTR shared the announcement poster through his social media profiles and write, ‘The Son of Shiva. The Pride of Parvathi. The Eternal Commander. And, once again with TRIVIKRAM. #NTRxTrivikram.’ On the poster is a battlefield that is on fire, surrounded by a trishul. Of great importance is the fact that the trident looks like a DNA strand.
Based on the visual details and the caption, it can be inferred that the film is centered on Lord Murugan (Kartikeya). The makers have not yet made an official statement regarding the film’s storyline or the mythological inspiration behind it.

The movie is a joint venture of S Radha Krishna, better known as China Babu, from the, banner Haarika and Hassine Creations, and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram of NTR Arts. It is written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, while the music is scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
The makers have not yet announced the release date of of the mythological drama. However, seems like the film might not release before 2028, since the actor is also busy with several big projects like Devera 2 and Prashanth Neel’s Dragon.
Trivikram and Jr NTR to collaborate for the second time
It is worth noting that Jr. NTR and Trivikram are teaming up for the second time; they previously worked together on the 2018 film Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. Released in 2018, Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava marked the first collaboration between Jr NTR and director Trivikram Srinivas. The action drama also featured Pooja Hegde and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. The film was well received at the box office and went on to collect approximately Rs 165.18 crore worldwide, according to Sacnilk.
