Sachin Malik: Uttar Pradesh Minister for Urban Development and Energy, A.K. Sharma, today conducted a detailed review of the works being carried out by the Energy Department, Urban Development Department, and Development Authority during his visit to Prayagraj at the Circuit House auditorium. He directed officials to complete all Public Welfare-related Projects within the Stipulated time frame and accord them the highest Priority.
During the review of the Energy Department, Sharma instructed officials to ensure uninterrupted and Quality Power supply to the People of the State. He emphasized that all Electricity-Related complaints and issues Should be resolved Promptly and Stated that the Public Should not face any Inconvenience. He further directed that Power Projects approved or under construction based on demands from Public representatives Should be completed on a war footing. The minister also warned of Strict action against officials Showing negligence in their Duties.
Reviewing the Urban Development Department and Development Authority, Sharma instructed officials to expedite all ongoing Projects and ensure their completion before the upcoming Magh Mela. He also directed officials to accelerate work on Sewage Treatment Plants (STP). Referring to the beautification work carried out at major city intersections before the Maha Kumbh, he instructed authorities to conduct fresh inspections and make necessary improvements Wherever required. Considering the monsoon season, he Stressed the timely Cleaning of drains to Prevent waterlogging and Provide relief to Citizens.
The minister also directed that the remaining work on the Hanuman Temple Corridor be completed on a Priority basis. Regarding the Streetlights installed along the fair area, he instructed officials not to remove those that are Still needed, ensuring adequate illumination in the Region.
During the meeting, A.K. Sharma reiterated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the State Government remains fully committed to Public convenience and development works. He Stated that every Project would be completed with Quality and within the Prescribed timeline. He urged officials to work with responsibility and Sensitivity while Keeping Public Welfare as their top Priority.
