Sachin Malik Lucknow Aliganj fire incident continues to cast a Shadow of Grief over the city. On Tuesday, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav visited King George Medical University (KGMU) to meet those injured in the devastating blaze. Expressing deep sorrow, Yadav said the tragedy could have been averted had safety norms been strictly Enforced.
After meeting victims, he remarked, “If safety regulations had been followed, such a massive tragedy would not have occurred. Ignoring fire safety standards has cost many lives.” He emphasized that families affected by the disaster must receive every Possible Support.
Yadav Shared the Plight of one critically injured Youth who sustained a spinal injury while jumping to save his life. “His condition is worrying. He is the sole breadwinner of his family, and his treatment will take a long time,” Yadav said, urging the Government to take full responsibility for his medical care and financial support.
Key Demands by Akhilesh Yadav:
🔸️Government must bear the entire cost of treatment for the Injured.
🔸️Monthly salary support until the injured youth recovers fully.
🔸️Minimum compensation of ₹1 crore for families of the deceased.
🔸️Immediate relief and rehabilitation for all affected families.
Yadav strongly criticized the administration, stating that negligence and disregard for safety norms had turned the coaching centre into a death trap. “If the Government does not step forward to help, then who will?” he asked, calling for urgent accountability and Justice.
