Sachin Malik: The 27th Board Meeting of Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) was held today at Lok Bhavan under the Chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary S. P. Goyal.
During the meeting, the Board approved the appointment of Nikhil T. Phunde, Director of Civil Aviation and Sandeep Kaur Secretary Finance Department, as Directors on the Board of NIAL.
The Board also reviewed the Preparations for the Commencement of domestic Passenger and cargo operations at the Noida International Airport in Jewar. Members were informed about the Progress of the finishing works on the international terminal. It was Stated that the construction and finishing of the international terminal are expected to be completed by September–October 2026, following Which international flight operations are Scheduled to commence later this Year.
The meeting was attended virtually by Alok Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Industrial Development Department, N.G. Ravi Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Greater Noida Authority and Krishna Karunesh, Chief Executive Officer Noida Authority.
Present Physically at the meeting were Rakesh Kumar Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), Sandeep Kaur, Secretary, Finance Department, Nikhil T. Phunde, Director of Civil Aviation and Shailendra Kumar Bhatia, Nodal Officer for the Jewar Airport project. The officials briefed the Board on the current Progress of the airport Project.
