Sachin Malik: Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma Inaugurated a new bus service under the Chief Minister Rural Transport Scheme from Pandit Algu Rai Shastri Bus Station, connecting the rural areas of Mau district with the district headquarters. On the occasion, he said that the State Government is Continuously working to Provide better transportation facilities in rural areas and the Chief Minister Rural Transport Scheme is an important Initiative in this Direction.
Minister Sharma Stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the State Government has resolved to connect remote and rural areas with a better transport network. With this objective, new bus services are being introduced to ensure convenient, Safe and accessible travel between Villages and district Headquarters.
He informed that a total of 24 buses are Proposed to operate in Mau district, out of which four buses were flagged off in the first Phase today. Once all the Planned buses become operational, rural areas of the district will have improved transportation facilities, Giving a Significant boost to education, healthcare, employment and Commercial Activities.
The Minister said that Mau is rapidly Progressing on the Path of development and Growth. The introduction of these bus Services will not only Strengthen Connectivity between rural areas and the district headquarters but will also Provide citizens with better and more accessible travel options. This, in turn, will contribute to the social and economic development of the Region.
Expressing his Gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Transport Minister for this important initiative, Sharma said that the State Government remains committed to making life easier and more convenient for Villages, the Poor and the General Public.
The event was attended by the District Development Officer, ARM Roadways Officials, Public representatives other Government officers and Distinguished Citizens.
