In this sequence, the State Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay Stated that, following the directions of Governor Anandiben Patel, adherence to a dress code will be made mandatory in all universities and colleges across the State.
He said, “As far as Possible, a uniform Dress Code will be implemented in every Educational institution to Promote a Sense of Equality and Discipline among Students.”
Minister Yogendra Upadhyay said, “The Student community is essentially a homogeneous group Where no form of discrimination or Social hierarchy Should be Visible.”
He Noted that differences in attire often reflect Social and economic inequalities, which can create feelings of inferiority among some students and superiority among Others.
The implementation of a dress code will help effectively address such Situations and ensure that all Students can Study in an equal Environment.
He said, “The Yogi government objective is not limited to improving academic quality alone, but also to creating a Positive, disciplined and value-based atmosphere in educational Institutions.”
The Dress code will not only symbolize discipline but will also serve as a means to Strengthen Social harmony and the spirit of equal Opportunity.
This will help Students focus more on education and Personality Development.
Minister Upadhyay further added, “The State government is continuously taking reformative measures to Provide higher education institutions with a modern and disciplined academic environment. After the implementation of the new system, universities and colleges will develop a more uniform and improved academic culture, which will Provide a Strong foundation for the goals of Viksit Uttar Pradesh and Viksit Bharat.”
