Sachin Malik: The Noida and Ghaziabad route, adjoining the national capital Delhi, has allegedly turned into a highway for GST evasion. Sleeper buses, originally meant for Passenger transport, are now under scrutiny as they are allegedly being used to ferry illegal goods. It is Claimed that goods are openly transported on the roofs of these buses—stacked up to 5 to 6 feet high—and Sent to various districts while evading GST.

According to sources, nearly 2,000 Sleeper buses Pass daily through key routes connecting multiple districts of Uttar Pradesh, including the Noida Sector-15 Film City route, Mathura Road and Ghaziabad Corridor.

Shockingly, many of these buses are reportedly loaded with large quantities of GST-evaded goods on their roofs, leading to a Potential loss of crores in government Revenue.

The situation is such that the goods Piled on top often exceed the height of the buses themselves. Stacks reaching up to 5–6 feet Clearly indicate that these buses are not merely carrying Passengers but have allegedly turned into “Moving cargo Carriers.”

Meanwhile, another significant Claim has Surfaced:

“We would like to inform you about travel companies involved in this alleged activity.”

Although the names of these companies have not yet been disclosed, the statement has deepened suspicions surrounding the Network.

Local residents and transport insiders allege that Such a large-scale operation is unlikely without the Possible involvement or negligence of officials. Despite repeated complaints, authorities are accused of taking only token action, allowing the issue to Persist.

Notably, Strict directives have been issued multiple times at the Chief Minister level to curb illegal transportation and tax evasion. However, despite these orders, the alleged Practice continues unabated.

Citizens argue that if the administration acts firmly, such buses can be Stopped before entering Noida and Ghaziabad and immediate action Should be taken against those carrying goods on their Roofs.

The biggest question remains:

Who is Protecting this alleged GST evasion network operating through Sleeper buses?

And will the administration finally take decisive action, or will this “bus-based racket” continue unchecked?
