Bahraich: The district’s biennial convention and elections for the Basic Health Workers Association were held smoothly. The election process was conducted as per the rules under the supervision of Election Officer and Supervisor Gyan Chandra Srivastava, Administrative Officer, CMO, Bahraich, and Sunil Singh, Health Education Officer. Honorable Provincial President of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Health Workers Association, Dhananjay Tiwari, was present as the chief guest. Under his leadership, all convention and election formalities were completed peacefully and transparently. Ram Shekhar Pandey, Divisional President and Anurag Srivastava, Divisional Co-Incharge, Devipatan Division, Gonda, also attended the convention as special invitees. Manikant Ojha, District President, Hariram Arya alias Tinku Arya, Vice President, and Anoop Kumar Chaudhary, General Secretary, were elected unopposed, along with all office bearers. Hariram Arya, alias Tinku, who was elected as vice president, said that strengthening the organization, solving the problems of health workers, and protecting their rights will be his priorities. He expressed his gratitude to all the members. A large number of health workers from across the district attended the program and expressed satisfaction with the unopposed election.
